The World Food Awards 2010 will be broadcast globally to an audience of millions by Sony Entertainment Television Asia - co-organisers of the awards ceremony.

The event will feature a glittering line-up, including performances from leading artists and a host of celebrities, sports personalities and acclaimed chefs to present the awards.

At the 2009 event Ex-Atomic Kitten, Natasha Hamilton shined and celebrity chefs Anjum Anand and Ainsley Harriott presented awards in front of guests, including Jim Fitzpatrick MP, Minister of Food, Mark Ramprakash, Vanessa Feltz, and Raghav - as well as a host of leading names from the world food industry itself, including Sir Gulam Noon and Kirit and Meena Pathak.

The classic pop trio The Real Thing closed the show with their hit single You To Me Are Everything, and the event was followed by a Halloween-themed after party featuring the musical genius of Katy Shotter.

Millions of Sony Entertainment Television viewers in over 100 countries across the world will be tuned in to watch the World Food Award's 2010 ceremony and a series of adverts promoting the awards will be aired in the build up to the event, which also attracts substantial press coverage in the UK and International press.
