The Judging Process. The procedure used to determine the award winners will take place in two stages and is set out below, subject to any changes that the organiser may in its absolute discretion make.
Selection of
2010 Finalists
A panel of
judges selected by the organiser,
including representatives from the
industry, will review all of the entries
received and create a shortlist of three
finalists for each category. The
shortlist will be announced on the World
Food Awards website on
Wednesday
1st September.
Selection of
2010 Winners
During the month
of September,
World Foods Association members are
invited to vote for who they think
should win each category. Members can
vote in all categories (with the
exception of the Lifetime Achievement
Award), however, they are only entitled
to one vote per category. Members voting
will close on Wednesday 30th September.
The overall winner will be determined by
a combination of the judges scores and
members votes.
The high-profile judging panel will
score each of the finalist's
applications against the key criteria,
as set out in the application form, so
please ensure you carefully consider the
key criteria when putting together your
entry form.
